I am an Iowa City native.  After graduating West High school I obtained an Associates Degree from a technical college in Wyoming followed by a Bachelors of Science (honors) and a Master's degree from the University of Iowa.  I've worked in laboratories and performed research for around 10 years using animal models of schizophrenia, pain, traumatic brain injury, & diabetes.  Aside from work I enjoy spending time with my wife and our daughter, being outdoors, walking our dog, biking, anything my daughter wants to do is great too, swimming, biking, playground, & ice skating.
